„SKM Port Vidin” JSC is a port located in the Northwestern town Vidin, located at the right bank of the Danube, with good accessibility and occupies a significant place in the area of the national and European transport system. „SKM Port Vidin” JSC is the first / last port on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and this geographical part of the EU zone. An important advantage of our port is the kind of transport node formed by the intersection of transport corridor № 4 and transport corridor №7 and at the same time the shortest route to Greece, Macedonia and Serbia. From here, along Corridor 4 and Corridor No. 8, passes the way to the Middle East.

Port Vidin – South is located in the southern industrial zone in the area of km 785 to km 785,200 of the river on an area of 48 dcrs. It is included in the list of public transport ports under Art. 103a, para 1, item 1 of the Law on the Maritime Spaces, Inland Waterways and Ports of the Republic of Bulgaria (LMMWTPPB) as a part of public transport ports with national importance.
